The OCA-NOVA Service Corps is a program 1) to provide a community service opportunity each and every month for volunteers, 2) to promote the involvement of Asian-Pacific Americans in community service, and 3) to enhance the perception of our community in mainstream American.


OCA-NOVA Service Corps volunteers have been giving back to the community monthly for over nine years.  Service events are generally four hours in length and are located in the DC metro area.  Some past events have included: Red Cross Alexandria Waterfront Festival, DC Goodwill, Fair Oaks Mall Lunar New Year Festival, Bethany House, Fannie Mae Homeless Walkathon, Capital Area Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, Greater DC Care Servathon, voter registration drive, and Popular Spring Animal Sanctuary.
